Since May 2023, I am a post-doctoral fellow at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, in the algebraic geometry group led by Prof. Dr. Gavril Farkas. My position is funded by the ERC Advanced Grant SYZYGY: Syzgies, moduli and topological invariants of groups. Prior to that, I defended my Ph.D. thesis Positivity of the (co)tangent sheaf and of Chern classes in February 2023 at Université Côte d'Azur, Laboratoire J.A. Dieudonné, Nice, France. My doctoral supervisor was Prof. Dr. Andreas Höring. I obtained my Master's degree at Sorbonne Université in September 2019. My research interests encompass (birational) automorphism groups, nef and movable cones, rational curves, and positivity of (co)tangent sheaves and of their Chern classes on various kinds of complex projective varieties, typically in the realm of non-negative curvature. Lately, I have been interested in proving instances of the Morrison-Kawamata-Totaro cone conjecture for particular Calabi-Yau varieties and pairs, and in relationships between birational geometry and the orbifold fundamental group of Calabi-Yau pairs.

News of 2024

• January 31st - February 2nd: I am visiting Christian Gleißner and Julia Kotonski at Universität Bayreuth.
• January 25th - 26th: I gave a talk at the AGATA seminar of Institut Montpellierrain Alexander Grothendieck, in Montpellier, France.
• January 22nd - 24th: I discussed with colleagues on the ERC Saphidir, principally investigated by Susanna Zimmermann, and spoke at the seminar of the team Arithmetics and Algebraic Geometry at Université Paris-Saclay.
• January 18th-19th: A brief stay in Angers, to speak about real forms on complex projective surfaces at the Algebraic Topology and Algebraic Geometry Seminar.
• January 15th-17th: A short meeting of the ERC Groups of Algebraic Transformations, principally investigated by Serge Cantat, was the opportunity to share my interest in the Morrison-Kawamata-Totaro cone conjecture, and to learn about Kähler groups from Pierre Py.
